The Rs75 coin made possible by the federal government to honor the bravery of Pakistan’s armed forces during Marka-e-Haq and to properly mark the national event.

KARACHI: In honor of Independence Day, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) announced on Friday the release of a special coin worth Rs75. It will called Marka-e-Haq.

State Bank released the Rs 75 coin as a tribute to Independence Day.

Beginning August 15, 2025, the coin will sold at the exchange desks of all SBP Banking Services Corporation field offices, the central bank said in a statement.

The coin is 30 mm in diameter and 13.5 g in weight. It made of nickel-brass, which 79% copper, 20% zinc, and 1% nickel.

The crescent moon that is getting bigger and a five-pointed star that is rising in the northwest are in the middle of the coin’s front side.

How is Urdu script used in Pakistani art?

The words “ISLAMI JAMHURIA PAKISTAN” are written around the edges and on top of the crescent star in Urdu script. The inscription reads “2025” below the crescent and above two wheat sprigs with their arms curled upward.

On the right side of the crescent star is the value of the coin, written in bold letters as “75.” On the left side is RUPIA written in Urdu script.

The words “MARKA-E-HAQ” in Urdu and the number “2025” are in the middle of the other side of the coin. Along the edge of the top side of the coin, written in Urdu writing, is the phrase “PAKISTAN HAMESHA ZINDABAD.”

Two fighter jets are on the right and left sides of the coin’s reverse, along with a military ship and a multiple rocket launcher system (MRLS).

From August 15, 2025, the coin will given out at the exchange booths of all SBP Banking Services Corporation field offices.
