West Indies scored just 27 runs, which is the second-lowest score in Test history. It meant that Australia won the series 3-0 in Kingston.
Third Test, Kingston (the third of five days)

- West Indies lost by 143 runs (Campbell 36; Boland 3-34), and Greaves and Starc scored 27 runs.
- The scorecard says that Australia won by 176 runs and won the series 3-0.
West Indies scored just 27 runs, which is the second-lowest score in Test history and the lowest.
Score since 1955. It was enough for Australia to win by 176 runs and sweep the series in Jamaica.
One run more than New Zealand’s score of 26 all out against England in 1955 was scored by the Windies on the third day of the day-night Test in Jamaica.
West Indies’ lowest score before this was 47, which they got against England in 2004.
West Indies were dismissed for 27, and Starc claimed the fastest five-wicket haul in history.

Mitchell Starc, a fast bowler from Australia, took 6-9, which included five wickets in 15 balls in his 100th Test.
In Test cricket, it is the fastest five-wicket haul ever. Starc also took his 400th wicket in the longer form of the game.
The tourists beat the home team 3-0 thanks to a hat trick from seamer Scott Boland.
WI vs AUS 3rd Test: Starc hits the fastest wicket as Australia beats West Indies to the second-lowest score in a Test match and wins the series 3-0.
“It breaks my heart to be in a position where we think we can win the game and then have such a bad batting display,” said Windies captain Roston Chase.
His team needed 204 runs to win after bowling out the tourists for just 121 runs in their second innings.
“It’s something that has been recurring for the whole series – that makes it even more
disappointing.”
After the third day of the day-night pink-ball Test, Australia was 99-6 and had only scored 22 runs.
Alzarri Joseph took 5-27 for the home team.
The Windies’ response began with left-armer Starc, 35, getting rid of John Campbell with his first ball.
With his successive three balls, he bowled Brandon King, caught Kevlon Anderson leg-before, and then got rid of Anderson again. All three of them did not score.
In his third over, Starc bowled Mikyle Louis out for four runs and Shai Hope for two runs. It left the home team with 7-5 after 4.3 overs.
Before Boland’s hat trick, Josh Hazlewood got rid of Roston Chase for a duck, which cut the West Indies’ lead to 11-6.
The right arm got rid of Justin Greaves, Shamar Joseph, and Jomel Warrican in the 13th over. Greaves scored 11 of the 27 runs that were scored.
West Indies scored a run when the score was 26, thanks to a mistake by the fielders. Starc then bowled Jayden Seales to end the hosts’ game and give him his 402nd Test wicket.
It also proved that he is the best pace bowler in Test cricket.
“It’s been a great series,” Starc said. He recently became the fourth Australian to get 400 wickets, joining Nathan Lyon, Glenn McGrath, and Shane Warne.
“The batting conditions have been tough the whole time, but it’s been a great series for us.” Good days have been having a lot of fun. I’m happy when I get home.
Throughout the series, our bowling attack has been pretty good, and today was no different.
The next match will be a five-game T20 series, which starts on July 21 in Jamaica.

Windies are the worst they’ve been since 1955. The worst batting performance in Test history was by West Indies, with a score of 27 all out. The worst batting performance in history dates back to 1955.
In that match, New Zealand only scored one less run than England, who bowled them out for 26 at Eden Park.
In a Test match, those are the only two times when a team scored less than 30 runs.
In 2004, the Windies had their worst game ever, scoring only 47 runs against England at Sabina Park, the
same place where they lost badly on Monday.
The hosts were terrible, but Starc should get a lot of praise for getting the fastest five-for in the long format.
Boland, Ernie Toshack, and Stuart Broad were the only players who had ever taken five wickets in the first 19 balls of an innings before Monday. He had reason to enjoy his accomplishment.
