Pakistan’s technology firm, AirLink Communications, has announced that it will open the country’s first authorised Apple retail store by the end of 2025.
Topline Securities witnessed the statement during a corporate briefing session.

By the end of 2025, Pakistan will have its first Apple retail store.
In a significant technological advancement, smartphone producer and assembler Air Link Communication announced plans to create the first Apple retail store in Pakistan. It is anticipated that the store will open by the end of 2025.
During Thursday’s corporate briefing, Topline Securities saw the news.
Apple’s licensed distributor in Pakistan, GNEXT Technologies, selected AirLink Communications Limited as its top partner in September of last year.
“This strategic appointment aims to significantly expand the availability of Apple products through structured retail channel coverage,” said Air Link back then.
“This will ensure that customers have convenient access to a wide range of Apple products, including iPhones, iPads, MacBooks, Apple Watches and accessories,” it added.
Apple unveiled the much-anticipated iPhone 17 last month, claiming that it boasts a superior front-facing camera that will improve the appearance of horizontal selfies and a brighter, more scratch-resistant screen.

On the other hand, Air Link stated during its business briefing that it anticipates receiving the first shipment of 10,000 Acer laptops by November.
The retailer is in partnership with GNEXT Technologies, Apple’s authorised mobile brand, for manufacturing and distribution.
Location & Partner Details.
Dolmen Mall, one of Lahore’s major shopping destinations, will host the launch of the store. AirLink will operate the retailer in partnership with GNEXT Technologies, Apple’s authorised distributor in Pakistan.
And what else will the store offer?
The new Apple retail outlet will offer the full range of Apple products — including iPhones, iPads, MacBooks, Apple Watches, and accessories — through a dedicated, branded experience.
The store aims to provide Pakistani customers with direct access to official Apple products and services through a recognisable flagship channel.
Strategy & Significance.
This retail move by Apple (through its local partner) represents a significant development for the Pakistani consumer electronics market.
This move indicates that Apple perceives sufficient demand for premium devices in Pakistan to warrant opening a dedicated store, rather than relying solely on third-party resellers.
This move aligns with a broader trend of premium global brands expanding their local presence in South Asia.

What Remains Unclear.
While the announcement is concrete, some details remain open: the exact opening date (aside from “end of 2025”).
The full scale and size of the store, along with whether it will function like Apple’s flagship stores in other countries—offering in-store repairs and Genius Bar-type support—are still unclear.
Furthermore, as the local partner’s briefing drives this, formal confirmation from Apple Inc. is still pending.
